I’m the founder of Go With The Family, and lifelong travel has shaped who I am.

Childhood train journey that inspired my love of family travel

I grew up in England, where my love of travel started early, hopping on trains with my brother to spend summers exploring beaches and the countryside. Later, serving in the British Army took me across Europe and into Southeast Asia, where I fell in love with different cultures, landscapes, and ways of life.

Eventually, I emigrated to Canada with my wife to start a family, and that’s when travel took on a whole new meaning.

Traveling with kids is different. It’s rewarding, memorable… and sometimes chaotic.

That’s where this site was born.
